Jon Bass is a Los Angeles-based cinematographer with 8+ years of experience specializing in fashion, commercial, and narrative work.

As Director of Photography, he has shot campaigns for Meta, YoungLA, Modelo, LA Galaxy, Stella Rosa, and the U.S. Army, alongside narrative short films and music videos.

 

His narrative work includes Shepherd Moon, selected at 16+ international film festivals.

 

He got his start photographing with his parents' point-and-shoot cameras growing up in Omaha, Nebraska, and earned his BFA from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln's Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film.

 

He now works out of Los Angeles, driven by a focus on storytelling and strong creative collaborators.
